The Graduate Program in Global Education Studies (I-GES) course launches in October 2023.
With the application window for this newly created doctoral program soon approaching, the Graduate School of Education is hosting a one-hour orientation for potential candidates on November 11, both online and in-person.
The program, which is conducted exclusively in English, is geared towards students who wish to grasp the multi-layered challenges of education in a globalizing society, and contribute to policy-making and implementation through international and interdisciplinary perspectives. I-GES forms part of Tohoku University's Future Global Leadership Program.

The orientation is expected to discuss more about the program, how to apply, and scholarships and support. It is open to all. Registration is not required.
