This English language symposium aims to deepen our practical understanding of causality and causation, by introducing the various ways that causal inference techniques can be applied to complex problems in our society.
It is part of the Tohoku Forum for Creativity's "Discovery Intelligence Challenge 2024" programme and is designed to complement the Japanese language symposium on February 19 titled "What is Causality?."
